Projects - Light Weight Guitar
This is the start of a project guitar to exactly how lightweight I can build one. The solid maple body started at 3.8 lbs. I removed the top 1/4" and then chambered out the body. Down to just under 2 lbs.
Then we glue the top back on. Let's see where this ends up.

Projects - Solid Walnut Guitar
These 2 were created to explore the effect of heavily clambering a one piece solid walnut body to reduce weight.
A very pleasant result for me. @jenhodgesabstractart did some great work on the pickguards for me. The sound and feel is very good.
